M3/Z4M - Radial SL4R rear calipers on OEM rotors
You can ditch your original e46 M3/Z4M sliding calipers known for their flex and loose feeling and replace them with stiffer Wilwood’s SL4R units (4× 1.125” or 4× 1.25” pistons) with the exact same piston area as the original M3 calipers and very close to the Z4M calipers. This will not change your original bias. You can also install SL4R calipers with larger 1.25” pistons for more rear bias.
Better pedal feel. Cheaper brake pads. All compounds available for the 7420 reference.
Adapting kit for SL4R calipers : 420.00$ cad
To order or to get more info, please email us at massivebrakes@gmail.com
TECHNICAL NOTE
- e46 M3 has front Ø60mm and rear Ø40mm pistons
- CSL, and Z3M have front Ø60mm and rear Ø46mm pistons
