e80/e90 › Dual MC booster delete

Dual MC booster delete

$0.00

The design of this Dual MC Brake Booster Delete kit started in 2013 at the same time as the notorious e30 single MC booster delete kit, and distribution started in 2015.

While the kit is a bolt-on for all other chassis, on the e80-e90 chassis, as the aluminum brake tower only has two mounting holes, two more must be added as per pictures below. I strongly advise AGAINST using only two mounting holes.

Pedal ratio can be adjusted to 6 : 1 or 7 : 1

The balance bar (Tilton 72-250) allows easy adjustment of front-to-rear braking balance. A remote adjuster can be fitted. MCs pictured are Tilton’s 72 Series shorties.

« Love the fact they feel only a tiny bit stiffer for 90% of how the car is mostly driven, and only a bit more if some harder braking is needed ».
- Frank Leo Grande - e30 kit - Street use

« The first 25% pedal travel feels about the same as with power brakes and after that it does require more effort, but you dont need power lifter legs to stop the car. The modulation is the key with this setup. »
- David Sass - e36 kit - Race use

450.00$ cad

MCs and balance bar not included
