This kit was designed for BMW V8 swaps in e30 chassis because the cylinder heads are wide and cover the location for the brake booster. Making bolting any MC in front of the firewall impossible. This kit allows to install a hinged Master Cylinder such as a Tilton 78 in the cockpit, which actuates a slave cylinder bolted onto the brake booster. The brake booster can be fitted anywhere in the engine bay, or in the passenger footwell or even in the trunk.
